JB Tool, Die & Engineering, Inc. employs outstanding engineers who are skilled in shop floor know-how. This technical assistance was called upon when a customer needed to relocate their manufacturing facility to another state. In less than six months our engineering and project management team completed the project to the customer's satisfaction.

This relocation project required us to perform engineering upgrades on the new site in addition to designing the layout of the new floor space. Once the new site was ready to receive the equipment, the breakdown of the old facility began: 13 manufacturing cells, containing 6 major pieces of equipment each, were removed for relocation. We handled the rigging and millwright services as well as the local contractors and technical workers who were needed for equipment removal and reinstallation.

During this relocation, machinery repairs and necessary upgrades were performed. After re-installation, we furnished new product handling systems and performed line shakedowns. We were also involved with machine qualification, process capability, and staff training to ensure that the facility would be up and running when this relocation was complete.

More information on our relocation services can be found in the table below or contact us directly.
